SF mural restoration

One of our big teachers and a giant in Bay Area mural making Juana Alicia is fundraising to restore a historic mural in San Francisco’s mission district which has many incredible walls. This one on the SF Mime Troupe’s building has been up for nearly 40 years. Why is the troupe and mural important? SF Mime Troupe used theater and performance to critique society as do many murals. And the mural not only celebrates their history but it also highlights many other artists. If we’re not talking back to politics, we’re just going along w/ the program.

Please watch, share, and contribute if you can.
